Some organizations discuss exporting and the "how to's" from the broadest of perspectives. As a result, managers get excited
about the markets waiting for them and their company's products...and rightfully. However, the factors
involved in long-term success go way beyond the broad explorations of the market potential. ICE offers
the details you need to ensure success in the international marketplace.
The ICE Group helps members with key elements to be successful in the global marketplace:
Understanding the economic and political conditions in your markets
Meeting customer needs for credit terms and sales financing
Maximizing sales and profits by making sound business decisions
Networking with professionals engaged in international business.
ICE offers solutions & tools to realize sales & profits. Members "roll-up their sleeves" and engage with manufacturing and service industry experts to share expertise and experience. Learning and networking are key elements of the ICE Group. The ICE board of directors
includes representatives from these member companies...
- Alliance Laundry Systems LLC
- BMO Capital Markets
- Euler Hermes
- GE Healthcare
- Joy Global
- Rite Hite Corporation
- The Vollrath Company LLC
- Weir Minerals
- Wells Fargo Global Banking
- Weyco Group Inc
- Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC)

JULY 16, 2013
AFRICA--The Emerging Frontier
Hilton Garden Hotel
Oshkosh, WI
Africa's share of global direct investment has accelerated over the past five years, highlighting the growing interest from foreign
investors and companies looking for new growth opportunities. Ongoing improvements in the region's business environment and exponential
growth in trade and investment have provided a platform for accelerated economic growth for a large number of African economies.
The size of the African economy has more than tripled since 2000 and the region is expected to grow by 4% for 2013 and 5% for 2014.
Our ICE meeting will address the opportunities and the challenges that US companies face in selling into this rapidly emerging and
opportunistic continent. Representatives from US Export-Import Bank (EXIM) and the International Finance Corporation (IFC) will discuss
products and services to develop sales and assist in mitigating risks. In addition, several ICE member companies will share their
experiences in this fast growing region. Please join our expert speakers, in learning more about Africa and how your company can
find profitable new business.
